Job Description
Conducts employee orientation and management and line employee training as necessary
Coaches employees on effective ways to motivate employees, communicate performance expectations, discuss employee performance and recognize exemplary service
Counsels employees and employees on effective ways to address and resolve employment related issues
Handles union issues and participates in the negotiation of contracts as appropriate
Works with employees to develop their leadership skills through one-on-one counselling and formal training courses
Encourages recognition of employee contribution by co-coordinating a Hotel-wide recognition programs. Fills positions with qualified candidates on a timely basis
